The Engineering Division is a part of Public Works, and is involved in projects for streets, water main, sewer, transportation, and buildings. This Division reviews commercial site developments and all projects within the public right-of-way, while managing several programs that provide improvements to neighborhood infrastructure and local street rehabilitation. The Engineering Division utilizes Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to develop, manage, and analyze geospatial aspects of our infrastructure that would not be feasible to attain without the use of GIS.
