The City of Berwyn Early Voting site for the Primary Election has changed. The new location is the Berwyn Recreation Center, 6501 W. 31st Street, corner intersection of 31st Street and East Avenue, with FREE public parking lot available.

NOTE: The Cicero PSO Building will be open March 11-15 until 7pm and on March 18 until 7pm.

HOW TO REGISTER TO VOTE: You can register online, in person or you can download registration forms and register through the mail. Please make sure to check the specific deadline for the form you select as dates differ depending on the method of registration. If you have an Illinois driver's license or state ID, you may register yourself online through the Illinois State Board of Elections at https://ova.elections.il.gov/. 

Deadline to register for the Primary Election is: March 3, 2024.

REQUESTING A MAIL-IN BALLOT: Any voter can request a mail-in ballot without an excuse. You can receive a mail-in ballot application from the City Clerk’s Office or online at https://www.cookcountyclerk.com/agency/ways-vote. The deadline to apply by mail or online is March 14, 2024. (Your request must be received downtown by that date).

SUBMITTING A MAIL-IN BALLOT:

• To mail, a completed ballot must be postmarked March 19, 2024; or
• You can drop off your completed ballot at any EARLY VOTING site between March 4, 2024 to March 18, 2024; or
• You can drop off your completed ballot at your normal POLLING site on March 19, 2024.

If you decide to in-person vote after receiving a mail-in ballot, you may do so. Just bring your unmarked mail-in ballot to the polling location and give it to an Election Judge.

IN-PERSON VOTING: Your normal polling location will be open on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. If you are not sure where your polling place is, the City Clerk’s Office can look it up. Please contact Clerk Paul at 708-749-6451 or Deputy Clerk Anderson at 708-749-5453 during normal business hours for help.

CÓMO REGISTRARSE PARA VOTAR: Puede registrarse en línea, en persona o puede descargar el formulario de registro y registrarse a través del correo. Por favor asegúrese de verificar la fecha límite específica para el formulario que seleccione ya que las fechas cambian según el método de registro. Si tiene una licencia de conducir de Illinois o una identificación estatal, puede registrarse en línea a través de la Junta Electoral del Estado de Illinois en https://ova.elections.il.gov/ 

La fecha límite para registrarse para las Elecciones Primarias es: marzo 3, 2024.

COMO SOLICITAR UNA BOLETA DE VOTACIÓN POR CORREO: Cualquier votante puede solicitar una boleta por correo sin pregunta. Puede recibir una solicitud de boleta de votación por correo en la Oficina de la Secretaria Municipal o en línea en https://www.cookcountyclerk.com/agency/ways-vote. 

La fecha límite para aplicar por correo o en línea es marzo 14, 2024. (Su solicitud debe ser recibida en el centro antes esa fecha).

COMO ENVIAR UNA BOLETA DE VOTACIÓN POR CORREO:

• Para enviarla por correo, una boleta completa debe tener matasellos del 19 de marzo de 2024; o
• Puede dejar su boleta completa en cualquier sitio de VOTACIÓN ANTICIPADA entre el 4 de marzo de 2024 y el 18 de marzo de 2024; o
• Puede dejar su boleta completa en su sitio de VOTACIÓN habitual el 19 de marzo de 2024.

Si decide votar en persona después de recibir una boleta de votación por correo, puede hacerlo. Simplemente lleve su boleta por correo sin marcar al lugar de votación y entréguela a un juez electoral.

COMO VOTAR EN PERSONA: Su lugar de votación normal estará abierto el martes, marzo 19, 2024. Si no está seguro de dónde está su lugar de votación, la Oficina del Secretario Municipal puede búscar su ubicación para usted.
